Hamlet Adaptation

To take Shakespeare’s Hamlet and use print as a way to bring the performance to the page.

The design solution 

The solution was to experiment with the interaction between type and image. I used a combination of hand-made (such as hand lettering and paper cutting) and digital processes. This project focused on audience interaction, with some pages designed to be rotated. There is handwriting bordering each spread to reflect the thoughts of the audience.
